The Tour participants will meet in front of the Ventura Mission on Main street in downtown Ventura starting around 8:15 AM. After registering, mingle with your car friends and get your coffee at the many coffee shops by wondering around in authentic down town Ventura.

Starting there at about 9:00 AM, we will caravan as a group and drive up Highway 101 along the coast to Solvang, where we will visit the Land Speed Record Hall of Fame at the Mendenhall Museum. The Mendenhall Museum is a private collection located in California’s beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The museum has one of the west coast’s largest petroliana collections including gasoline pumps, globes, and porcelain gas, oil, & road signs. There are also race cars, racing memorabilia, license plates, gas & oil items, and other miscellaneous antiques.

This collection was started over fifty years ago by the late Jack Mendenhall and is carried on today by his son and daughter in law, Mark and Vickie and is located at 24 Zaca St. Buellton CA, 93427.

After the visit, we will pause for lunch at the Figueroa Mountain Brewery. Following that we will take a back roads drive to the famous Fess Parker Winery for wine tasting.

Registration and sign-ins for the Tour are on lime or starting at8:15 a.m. on Main Street in Ventura in front of the Ventura Mission. We will depart on the Tour as a group at about 9 am; to arrive at the Mendenhall Museum 10:30. Route instructions for the Tour will be provided to participants at registration.

The cost for the TOUR is $45.00 per person including the delicious lunch. Please Register online in advance.
